Hello!! I have some new music under the moniker: Theee Kevin Alvir, which is my real name. I always thought releasing music under a proper first and last name was kinda stupid and meant "confessional musings with an acoustic" and "not exactly fun." I wrestled with band names and I wanted something that I can just be like, "Yeah that's me and I stand by it." So "The Kevin Alvir" was born.
Anyways, it feels good to be making music again. I feel weird if I'm not doing it. I don't think this music will shock anyone. I'm not mining some different genre. I'm not that sorta musician. All the guitars are acoustic and so many layered beach boys-y vocals... and then there are those influences of Pastels, TVPs, Flying Nun stuff... and maybe some other things I'm unaware of. I'm just being me, y'know.
Also I had a psychic reading and music came up. I was told to use more natural instruments. So there's that. Haha. Anyways... maybe this context might help you enjoy this song more. Love, The Kevin Alvir.
